Tear everything down and start anew

It took quite a while but I have finally taken down the old website and replaced it with this simple WordPress blog of sorts. I do not recall the last time I updated the last website but Heroku was complaining and saying that the stack it was on was EOL. Last I worked on it was almost a decade ago, so this was long overdue.

I finally found the time now that I am temporarily unemployed. The circumstance of which I will not divulge too much at this point of time. My current state in life is not in disrepair but I feel that this is a good time for some change. Throughout my now approximately 6 years out in the workforce, I have never managed to last long enough to stay around for a good period of time. The conclusion? I reckon it is finally time to put everything on the line and stop being a wage slave to put simply. No guarantees but I will check in as much as I can here, just to keep track of the small things that are important to me.

There is so much to learn and unlearn, it can feel overwhelming. But hopefully I can finally ground myself in sound philosophy and find my true self in this journey that I am starting out on. To study the ways of the Stoics, and many more that I have yet to discover. I am grateful for all that have paved the way for this to happen.
